A Morning Full of Smiles

From the very first moment, I could feel how special this day was going to be. Joveen & Perry’s easy smiles, gentle banter, and the warmth they showed to everyone around them made the morning such a joy to capture. Laughter floated through the air as they got ready, and I felt so privileged to be there, quietly preserving these moments for them.

A Touch of Tradition

Before stepping into the ballroom, the couple honored tradition in beautifully embroidered red attire—a classic yet vibrant nod to heritage. The rich colors and intricate details added depth and meaning to the day, blending culture with celebration.

Walking the Aisle Together

Instead of a traditional processional, Joveen & Perry chose to walk down the aisle hand in hand—a beautiful symbol of partnership. The ballroom glowed in soft gold, with floral accents and fairy lights creating a romantic yet inviting atmosphere. Smiles, cheers, and happy faces filled the space as they made their entrance.

A Game with a Currency Twist

One of the most entertaining moments of the banquet came during the games segment, led by the lively emcee Nelson . He fired off a series of fun quiz questions, inviting guests to shout out their answers. Every correct response earned the winner an angbao—but with a cheeky twist. Instead of the usual Singapore dollars, the envelopes were filled with foreign currency! Cue plenty of laughter as guests waved their prizes and tried to quickly convert the amounts into SGD to figure out what they’d actually won. It was lighthearted, interactive, and had the whole room buzzing with friendly competition.

The Second March-In with a Surprise

If the first march-in was sweet, the second was unforgettable, their second march-in was pure magic. Perry serenaded Joveen as they entered the ballroom while singing a song! The guests ate it up and cheered endlessly. It was one of those moments where you could feel the energy in the room—everyone was sharing in their happiness.

Watching them light up the space together was truly a highlight for me. It was such a personal touch, a moment that felt entirely theirs.
