We began the morning at Yin Leng’s family home , where she was surrounded by the softest natural light and the gentle energy of loved ones. Her bridal look was timeless—a classic white lace gown paired with a radiant smile and delicate, feminine makeup. Her bouquet featured soft lilac tones, ivory, and muted peach blooms, accented with wisps of greenery. The bridesmaids, dressed in soft lilac and pastel hues, beautifully echoed the romantic floral palette.

Meanwhile, at Wei Chuen’s home , the groomsmen prepared for the fun and laughter of the traditional gatecrash. Spirits were high, and the energy only built as the convoy made its way to receive the bride.

Gatecrash & Tea Ceremony: Joy, Laughter, and Tradition

No Chinese wedding in Singapore is complete without the beloved gatecrash ceremony, and this one was full of laughter and charm. The bridesmaids presented playful challenges, and Wei Chuen and his groomsmen embraced every one of them with good humor and heart.

Following the gatecrash, the couple honored Wei Chuen’s parents through the tea ceremony at the groom’s home. This was a tender, emotional moment of gratitude and connection, beautifully steeped in tradition.

Later in the day, after the church ceremony, a second tea ceremony was held at Calvary Bible-Presbyterian Church, where the couple offered tea to the bride’s family in a heartfelt continuation of this cherished tradition.
