An inspiring love story

Welcome to my blog post about the beautiful wedding of Sophie and Emmanuel! As a wedding photographer who has worked with them on their surprise proposal and pre-wedding shots, I am excited to share with you all the wonderful moments of their special day.

Sophie and Emmanuel are an amazing couple - well loved and respected by those around them. It has been an absolute joy to serve them and capture the memories they will cherish forever. Their trust in me has been such an honour, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their love story. An early morning ...

It is always fun to meet the ladies in the morning when everyone is just gearing up for all the excitement and rush to come. It's a complicated and nervous mish-mash of energy and I love quietly documenting the chaotic nature of the moment. It's messy, it's not stereotypically photogenic but it's authentic and offers the viewer a glimpse into this window of the day. My hope is that in years to come when the couples looked at these photographs, it will bring them back back to this very moment in time. May they remember the smell of coffee brewing in the background, the sound of hairspray going off, the messy snacks scattered around and the laughters of their friends who shared generously their time to arrive before the sun rose.

Wedding Details Flat Lay

Often an overlooked part of Wedding photography, Wedding flat lay shots are an essential part of your wedding album as they capture all the little details that makes your day special. These shots often include the bride's shoes, jewelry, invitations, and other keepsakes that tell the story of your wedding day and give a glimpse into the personality of the couple. Although they may seem like a small part of your wedding photographs, they take quite a bit of time to create because they require a lot of attention to details and styling. To arrange each item in a visually appealing manner, ensuring that the lighting and angles works require a lot of effort. The result is a collection of stunning images that you'll cherish for years to come.

The Spontaneous Bridal Party

Sophie and Emmanuel's bridal party was an absolute blast! Their fun-loving personalities were contagious and everyone was swept up in their excitement. From the wild gatecrash to the heartfelt speeches, it was clear that this couple is truly loved by all. It's no surprise as Sophie and Emmanuel are two of the kindest and most genuine people you'll ever meet.

Imperial Ballroom at Hilton Orchard

The Imperial ballroom at Hilton Orchard was definitely a unique venue of choice. It features an amphitheatre styled multi tier design with full LED walls for easy display of the couple's photo slide show.

Sophie and Emmanuel's guest and bridal party were on fire during the Yum Seng Toast! They were so enthusiastic and pumped up that the entire room was buzzing with excitement. Eeveryone was cheering, clinking glasses and screaming their lungs out like there was no tomorrow! You could absolutely feel the contagious love and happiness in the air. It's safe to say that Sophie and Emmanuel have some seriously awesome friends and family who knows exactly how to party!

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sophie and Emmanuel for entrusting me with capturing some of the most precious moments of their lives. It was an absolute honor to have been a part of their love story, from the surprise proposal to the pre-wedding photoshoot and finally, the wedding day. I am grateful for the opportunity to have witnessed and captured the joy, love, and happiness that they share.
