Eliza & Kenny’s pre-wedding shoot wasn’t just a photoshoot—it was a celebration of their love, their heritage, and all the little moments that make them them. We spent the day exploring some of Singapore’s most beautiful and iconic locations, with three different outfits, tons of laughs, and plenty of meaningful details woven in.

Starting in Style: Marina Bay Sands, Victoria Theatre & National Gallery
We kicked things off near Marina Bay Sands, soaking up those sleek city vibes at Youth Olympic Park, Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall, and the National Gallery Singapore. Eliza looked stunning in a flowing white gown, while Kenny kept it sharp in a classic western-style suit.
I love photographing pre-wedding photoshoots at Marina Bay Sands because the area has everything: modern architecture, clean lines, beautiful light, and iconic Singapore cityscape views. Walking from MBS to Victoria Theatre and National Gallery gave us a perfect blend of urban elegance and colonial charm—it’s a dream route for couples who want both modern and classic backdrops in their photos.

Embracing Tradition: Gardens by the Bay & Chinatown
After the city shots, Eliza & Kenny changed into traditional Chinese Qun Kua (wedding Kua) outfits and we headed to the Chinese Garden at Gardens by the Bay. Their bright red and gold Qun Kua were absolutely stunning, with beautiful embroidered dragons and phoenixes symbolizing prosperity, happiness, and harmony in Chinese wedding culture.
I always encourage couples to include traditional outfits if it feels meaningful to them—it adds depth, color, and a wonderful connection to heritage. Plus, the soft greenery and architecture of the Chinese Garden at Gardens by the Bay created such a peaceful, romantic setting for these shots.
From there, we made our way to Chinatown, where the vibrant streets and colorful shophouses gave us a more playful, candid vibe. Shooting a pre-wedding photoshoot in Chinatown Singapore is always a fun challenge because there’s so much life and energy to work with—it really reflected Eliza & Kenny’s fun, easygoing personalities.
A Special Tribute at CHIJMES
We wrapped up the day at CHIJMES, one of my favorite places for wedding and pre-wedding photography in Singapore. Here, Eliza changed into a stunning Peranakan Sarong Kebaya to honor her heritage, and it honestly took my breath away.
The intricate embroidery and beadwork of the kebaya paired beautifully with the iconic white arches and peaceful courtyard of CHIJMES Singapore. It was such a meaningful way to end the session—a quiet tribute to family, culture, and the journey that brought them here.

A Day to Remember
What I loved most about Eliza & Kenny’s pre-wedding session wasn’t just the beautiful locations or outfits—it was their warmth and graciousness. Through every stop and every outfit change, they were so kind, so thoughtful, and so genuinely happy to be together.
Their shoot is such a perfect example of how a Singapore pre-wedding photoshoot can be more than just beautiful pictures—it’s a way to tell your story, honor your heritage, and celebrate the love that brought you here.
