All the way from Philippines
Justin and Janie flew to Singapore from the Philippines for a short holiday—but what made their trip extra special was their decision to capture their pre-wedding photos right here in our little Lion City. We met at sunrise—my favourite time to photograph couples—when the city is quiet, the light is soft, and the Marina Bay waterfront has a magical stillness you can’t get at any other hour.
From the very beginning, these two were an absolute joy. Filipino couples always bring such warmth, openness, and natural chemistry to a photoshoot, and Justin and Janie reminded me so much of my Filipino friends that I found myself smiling the entire morning. They were playful, affectionate, and always ready to try new poses, even under Singapore’s famously warm weather.
For their pre-wedding photos, the couple wanted iconic Singapore landmarks—and we definitely made the most of them. We started at Merlion Park, where the skyline glowed softly behind them and Marina Bay Sands slowly lit up with the rising sun. From there, we walked toward the Helix Bridge and the ArtScience Museum, capturing those sweeping architectural lines Singapore is known for. Along the way, we also incorporated the Fullerton Hotel, the CBD skyline, and the shimmering waterfront—perfect backdrops for couples who want timeless, unmistakably Singaporean pre-wedding portraits.
We continued the session at Gardens by the Bay, a must-visit for couples who want lush greenery mixed with Singapore’s futuristic charm. The towering Supertrees and vibrant foliage gave us so much room to play.
Client Words That Made My Day
One thing I value deeply as a photographer is giving my clients a seamless, stress-free experience from start to finish. It’s why I invest in proper systems—clear invoicing, smooth payment processes, straightforward communication, and quick delivery of previews. So when Justin messaged me after the session to say they had a lovely time and even called the experience “sulit” (a Filipino term meaning more than worth it), it genuinely made my whole day!
He also mentioned how much they loved my website and how easy the entire journey felt. Feedback like that reminds me why I pour so much intention into every part of my service—not just the photos, but the experience wrapped around them.
