The princess and her Polar Bear
As a wedding photographer, one of the most exciting parts of my job is getting to know the happy couple before their big day. I had the pleasure of working with Eunice and Nicholas in June for their Pre-wedding session prior to their big day. Eunice and Nicholas are truly the most chilled and friendly couple ever and it was an abolute onour serving them.
Nicholas with his European blood towers over everyone and beside petite Eunice, their silhouette is undeniably adorable! And given Nicholas's giant physique, you can imagine Singapore's tropical weather is a torture for a "Polar Bear" like him. Thankfully both Eunice and Nicholas were absolute troopers and were game for anything despite the heat.
From the moment we met, I could tell that Eunice and Nicholas had a special connection. Their love for one another radiated in every moment that we captured on camera, and it was clear that they were both excited about starting their new life together.
Alumni of CAPT
Eunice and Nicholas were my 2nd couple to be alumnis of College of Alice and Peter Tan. To celebrate their love that blossomed there, they decided to have their pre-wedding at U-Town itself. It was great fun getting to know the couple and how they did in the school that nurtured them.
Jurong Lake Gardens
The 2nd location Eunice and Nicholas selected was Jurong Lake Garden. They wanted their 2nd location to be a natural landscape with good light and because they saw the portraits I took for Yingru and Sherman at Jurong Lake Gardens , they felt it would be a good fit for their needs!
It was forecasted to rain in the afternoon of the shoot and while the skies threatened a little, we were mostly blessed with strong radiant sun. We didn't get any orange glowy sunset but we still managed to have a lot of fun and the afternoon progressed with a lot of laughter.
From the tranquil beauty of the gardens to the joy and laughter that Eunice and Nicholas shared, every moment of their pre-wedding portrait session was fun and magical. I feel incredibly honoured to have been a part of their journey, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this amazing couple.
